Fear not intrepid OpenCarter the solution is here: "Further Information" creates a cool coloured bar (labelled Further Information... surprisingly) that when clicked on shows your welcome modules text, otherwise the text remains hidden.
So the Further Information module improves the design of your store and keeps the content for SEO! Remember content is King!
