Instead of -buying such feature- (I've seen someone selling it) freely use this extension but donate to opencart.
Description: removes *all* the "powered by" in the footer of the website.
Installation:
Just copy the vqmod folder in the main opencart folder.
In some cases we need to remove the "powered by" to avoid to be automatically targeted (ex. google hacking/dorks).
Note:
You must take care of the problems (install the needed patches) instead of *hiding* them.
Problematic versions:
Any Opencart until v1.5.9.2 (file upload, directory traversal, blind sql injection, etc).
